a little ‘bout me

Proud Chicagoan now based in LA

After finishing a bachelor’s in Anthropology from Kenyon College in 2019, I worked in organizing and development at nonprofits across Chicago. My internship with Kartemquin in 2020, and working on a personal project, led me to pursue film more seriously. In order to blend my interests, I moved to Santa Cruz for my MFA in Social Documentary.

From the fall of 2022 until spring 2024, I made Benchlands; Drag Story Time; Essay Film; Pajaro Valley, CA; and my thesis film - Visit Beautiful Costa Rica! Check them out in the projects tab above.I’m excited to continue my career in film through focusing on post-production sound and collaborating with other filmmakers.

Outside of filmmaking, I appreciate the time I get to walk my dog in the hills around Echo Park and bothering my cat as she naps. My favorite activities are trying new restaurants with my partner and photographing and listening to the world around me.

Contact me to work together in          audio post and sound design.
