Ramen Western premiered at the Los Angeles Pacific Asian Film Festival 2026 in the DGA theater. It will go on to screen at CAAMFest, alongside many other national film festivals.
As a sound designer and re-recording mixer on this film, I used my own foley and recordings alongside library sounds to build the soundscapes of cities and deserts, alongside character expressions of a sentient ramen and spaghetti battle and ancestral figures manifested as bouncing cacti. I did the ADR for the Asian Cowboy, mixed into 5.1, and had an in-person final review with Meloddy at Vaudeville.
916 episode 2 premiered at the Watsonville Film Festival 2026 and is officially selected for LALIFF 2026.
I was the re-recording mixer on this piece and am excited to return for many more episodes of the series.
